Upon completion of Law study programme, graduates receive Professional Bachelor of Law.

The acquired qualification of the lawyer enables to work as a pretrial investigation officer, customs official, manager and specialist of the personnel office, an assistant of the bailiff, official in municipality administrative bodies, in judicial institutions, the State Social Insurance Fund pension sections in territorial divisions, or as a lawyer in private enterprises.

The main objective of the Law study program is to prepare highly qualified lawyer, who is able to independently perform activities that require personal responsibility in various fields, who is critical thinking, knowing and perceiving the place of law and purpose in the system of social science, who knows the legal system of Lithuania, legislation, who able to apply them and to solve specific practical problems.

Learning outcomes:

1. Be able to explain the fundamental social behavior of individuals and activity of social institutions, who research scientific theories and phenomenon,  to describe the law history and the theory of law evolution.

2. Be able to explain the principles of the legal branches of the Republic of Lithuania, to explain the content of the most important legal institutes, will be able to discern and describe the areas of the legal regulation.

3. Be able to identify and characterize the main features of the European Union and the International Law systems.

4. Be able to analyze the various legal texts and be able to evaluate their validity in time and expanse.

5. Be able to choose and evaluate the legal norms, which regulate human behavior.

6. Be able to analyze and evaluate behavior and activities of human and social institutions and activities by legal norms.

7. Be able to argue the legal decisions by legal norms will be able to think consistently logically and critically, will be able accurately and correctly identify the problems of regulation.

8. Be able to interpret information, which is important for law, formulate conclusions.

9. Be able to argue based on available information and impart knowledge.

10. Be able to raise goals and aims of the research, to raise and validate hypotheses, to systematize and evaluate the results of the analysis and present reports and will be able to write an essay.

11. Be able to systematize legislation.

12. Be able to make the projects of application of legal acts.

13. Be able to organize the law session, to record his proceeding, to manage cases, will have skills of documents management.

14. Be able to do decisions of the judge and (or) other an official on the implementation of application of law.

15. Be able to use databases of the legal information.

16. Be able to find sources of the legal information, to use various modern information technologies.

17. Be able to be neutral in the legal practice, to harmonize contrary interests.

18. Be able to communicate and cooperate with specialists of legal and other areas using the correct professional Lithuanian and foreign languages.
