6th International Scientific-Practical Conference “Evidence-Based Practice: From Health Towards Social Well-Being”

On April 16, 2026, Utena University of Applied Sciences will host the 6th International Scientific-Practical Conference “Evidence-Based Practice: From Health Towards Social Well-Being.”

The Aim of the Conference is to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and to share the latest research findings and practical experiences that support the implementation of evidence-based practice, from individual healthcare to the strengthening of social well-being at the societal level.

Conference Topics

During the conference, the following topics will be discussed:

  1. Evidence-based nursing, dental healthcare, and public health.
  2. Evidence-based social work practice.
  3. Digital solutions and the application of artificial intelligence tools in health and social care sectors.
  4. Interdisciplinary collaboration to strengthen health and social inclusion.
  5. The role of education in fostering a culture of evidence-based practice.

·      Thematic expert discussion: “Long-term care in ageing societies of Central and Eastern Europe: challenges and future directions in Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia”
