DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES 

Target group 

Undergraduate and graduate students in health and social care study programmes (Nursing, Dental Health Care, Physiotherapy, Emergency Care, Social Work, Public Health or related fields). Teaching staff and early-career professionals may participate as observers or facilitators.

Aim 

To develop students’ ability to make evidence-based, patient-centred clinical decisions through simulation-based learning and interprofessional teamwork in health and social care settings.

Objectives 

To strengthen students’ competencies in evidence-based decision-making in real-life clinical situations.

To enhance interprofessional collaboration and structured communication within health and social care teams.

To apply patient-centred care principles during clinical simulations and case-based learning.

To integrate ethical reasoning and patient autonomy into decision-making processes.

To promote reflective practice through simulation debriefing and team-based evaluation.

Learning outcomes 

After completing the programme, participants will be able to:

• Apply evidence-based knowledge to clinical and social care decision-making.
• Demonstrate effective interprofessional teamwork and communication skills.
• Integrate patient-centred and ethical considerations into care planning.
• Perform and evaluate decisions during simulation-based scenarios.
• Reflect critically on their own and team members’ decision-making processes.
