Lithuanian language and culture courses for Ukrainians were held at Utena UAS for almost 4 months. During the course, lecturers Rima Žarskutė, Aurelija Pelenienė and Rūta Jurgelionienė helped participants from different study programmes to overcome linguistic and cultural differences. Educational activities were held to learn about the history and culture of Lithuania and the Utena region, and to see the points of contact between Lithuania and Ukraine. The coordinator of the training was Dalia Stunžėnienė.

Recently, Dr Raimundas Čepukas, the Director of Utena UAS, handed over the certificates of completion to the students.  Over a cup of tea, the Ukrainians shared their impressions in Lithuanian.
