Erasmus+ mobility visit in Turkey

On December 5-10, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology Dr. Vaida Bartkutė-Norkūnienė, associate professor dr. Ramutė Narkūnienė, faculty administrator lecturer Silvija Vidžiūnienė and faculty specialist for studies lecturer Aušra Lankauskienė are visiting Izmir Katip Çelebi University, Turkey, under the Erasmus+ mobility program.

During the visit, Dr. Ramutė Narkūnienė gave a lecture "Tourism and travel in Lithuania" to the students of the Faculty of Tourism. The students listened attentively to the lecture and asked many questions about Lithuania, which most of the students had never heard of.

The possibilities of organizing joint conferences, the possibilities of preparing projects, joint research and publications were discussed with the representatives of the Turkish university. During the visit, the faculty representatives participated in the largest international fair of tourism sector companies and educational institutions, and during the cultural program they had a great opportunity to visit Ephesus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Useful meetings and a rich cultural program ensured strong cooperation ties for the future.
