The Faculty of Medicine

The Faculty of Medicine is an open, modern and continuously growing academic community that prepares responsible, competent and critical-thinking professionals in healthcare and social welfare. In a changing world, we consider it important not only to provide knowledge, but also to develop the ability to analyse, collaborate, make responsible decisions, and act professionally and ethically.

Studies at the Faculty are based on the unity of theory, practice and research. We aim to ensure that students not only acquire professional knowledge and practical skills but also understand the importance of research in professional practice, can rely on evidence, critically evaluate information, and apply it in their professional activities. We seek to educate professionals who are not only practitioners, but also reflective, curious and continuously developing specialists in their field.

At the Faculty of Medicine, special attention is paid to applied research, evidence-based practice, innovation, academic dialogue and cooperation. We believe that progress emerges when studies, research and practice become an integrated process that encourages the search for solutions, the creation of new ideas, and a responsible response to the needs of society and the healthcare system.

On this page, we invite you to learn more about the Faculty of Medicine's activities, study opportunities, research and project activities, our community, initiatives, and other relevant information. We hope this page helps you get to know us better as an open, responsible, and modern community where personal growth, professional development, and a meaningful contribution to societal well-being are highly valued.
