The Intensive Programme under the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Project „EXPERIENTIAL LIVE PROJECT ENHANCEMENT – ELPE" (n 2017-1-LT01-KA203-035275).
24 – 31 May 2019 Utena University of Applied Sciences held an Intensive Programme in cooperation with its project partners – CISET-International Centre of Studies on Tourist Economics (Venice, Italy), Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Fundació Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (FUAB), (Barcelona, Spain).
The Intensive Programme was a very important activity of the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Project „EXPERIENTIAL LIVE PROJECT ENHANCEMENT – ELPE" (n° 2017-1-LT01-KA203-035275).
The aim of the project is to build a strategic partnership to support the adoption live projects in the role of Students' Consultancy at a European and regional level and to integrate this innovative methodology with e-learning, thus positively contributing to quality and modernization of undergraduate and post-graduate curricula, youth employment, and the engagement of HEI’s with businesses and local authorities. Furthermore, the project aims at fostering creativity and innovation in the study process.
The key concept of this project is that under the coaching of trained tutors students act as consultants to businesses (commissioners) in solving their real problematic issues. During this Intensive Programme 25 representatives (teachers, students and experts) from four countries (Italy, Finland, Spain and Lithuania) were looking for the solutions of business problems of three commissioners: Utena Tourism Information Centre (Lithuania), Leisure and Event Centre "Alaušo Slėnis" (Lithuania) and "Promoservice srl – Chiarano" (TV) (Italy).
In the framework of the Intensive Programme the partners tested other intellectual outputs: the Guidebook (the methodology), the Moodlecloud platform for independent teaching and learning on experiential learning and live projects.
