Lithuanian language courses for Ukrainian students, researchers and educators


Utenos kolegija / Utena University of Applied Sciences, together with the Education Exchanges Support Foundation, organizes Lithuanian language courses for Ukrainian students, researchers and educators.

Course date: 12 September 2022 until 09 December 2022.

The volume of learning - 180 hour.

The participants of the course will be introduced to the peculiarities of the Lithuanian language, will acquire A1 level writing, reading, listening and speaking skills in the Lithuanian language, will learn the main phrases that are useful in everyday life. During the educational events you will get acquainted with Lithuanian symbols, stages of history, ethnoculture, the most important celebrations and traditions.

The courses will take place in face-to-face classes at Utenos kolegija / Utena University of Applied Sciences (Maironio street 7, Utena).

Courses are FREE.

A certificate confirming the training will be issued.

Participants have to submit the following documents upon registration:

  • Motivation letter. In the motivation letter, participants should answer what benefit would the Lithuanian language and culture courses have for the participant’s further career and / or personal development.
  • An identity document and resident’s permit issued by the Migration Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania or a valid travel document, or other documents entitling them to enter and stay in Lithuania. The date of issue of these documents should not be earlier than 24 February 2022.
  • Lecturers of science and study institutions, researchers, employees of the education system in all fields, students: a document proving the status or a copy of it (a copy of a student’s certificate, a copy of an education, employment contract, a document of a researcher’s qualification or other documents).
