Admission procedure for Erasmus+ incoming students
Who can participate?
Students from higher education institutions (HEIs) in EU Member States and third countries associated with the Programme, and from higher education institutions in third countries not associated with the Programme that have valid Bilateral Agreements (BAs) signed with Utenos kolegija/ Higher Education institution.
1. Nomination by Home Institution
Before applying, students must be officially nominated by their home university. The Erasmus+ coordinator should send the nomination letter to: erasmus@utenos-kolegija.lt
Only students from partner institutions are eligible for Erasmus+ mobility at Utena HEI.
Nominations and applications of incoming students must reach the institution by:
Autumn Semester:
Nominations – 1st June;
Students’ documents – 30th June.
Spring Semester:
Nominations – 1st December;
Students’ documents – 15h December.
2. Required Application Documents
Incoming Erasmus+ students must submit the following documents electronically (scanned, signed, and stamped). Paper copies are not required.

2.2 Learning Agreement (Before the Mobility)

2.3 Transcript of Records
Issued by the home institution, including:

Completed courses
-
ECTS credits
-
Grades
2.4 Passport or ID Copy
Both sides must be scanned.
2.5 Health Insurance
Students must have:

European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) — obligatory

OR valid private health insurance covering Lithuania

Travel insurance is recommended
Note: Utenos kolegija/ HEI does not provide accident, health, or liability insurance. Students are responsible for arranging adequate coverage.
Language Requirements
The language of instruction for Erasmus+ students is English. Required proficiency: B1–B2 level.
The institution reserves the right to conduct an interview to assess language skills.
Lithuanian Language and Culture Course
Incoming students may attend this course free of charge.
