Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme for students and lecturers

Utenos kolegija Higher Education Institution teachers and students participate in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme.

April 8-12 15 students from Latvia (Rezekne Academy of Technology and Liepaja Academy of Riga Technical University), Poland (Białystok University of Technology), Czech Republic (Newton University) and Lithuania (Utena HEI) participated in the program "Sustainable Consumption" in Utena HEI.

At the same time, 6 students of the Faculty of Business and Technology gained new experiences and impressions in this programme at Lycée Nicolas Brémontier, Bordeaux, France. They were expected to work in international teams, during which they examined the ability of companies in the food and beverage industry to adapt to the market and cope with today's challenges, as well as the preparation and presentation of a joint project. A bicycle trip to the vineyard, familiarization with the wine production process, museums, and a tour of the old town of Bordeaux were organized for the participants of the program.

Giedrė Kosteckienė, a lecturer at the Department of Business and Public Management, and Vilma Andrašienė, the head of the faculty's practices, went to France together with the students.

On April 15-19, 3 students of the Faculty of Medicine participated in the Blended Intensive programme "X Management" in the Czech Republic.

April 22-26, 5 students participated in this programme "Applying Artificial Intelligence through Graphical Tools (Practical Workshop)" in Warsaw, Poland.

Lecturers can also take advantage of the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme. April 22-27, dean dr. Vaida Bartkutė-Norkūnienė, lecturers Aušra Lankauskienė, Silvija Vidžiūnienė, Viktoras Žemčiugovas, Evaldas Norkūnas, dr. Daiva Petrėnaitė and International relations specialist Deividas Kurlavičius participated in the mentioned programme "Possibilities and challenges of artificial intelligence in higher education" for teachers at Riga College of Law, Latvia. They listened to lectures, participated in the conference "Time for challenges: opportunities and solutions for creating a sustainable society", where Dr. Daiva Petrėnaitė read the report "Balance of work and personal life: issues of legal regulation in Lithuania", and got acquainted with the cultural places of Riga.
